Congratulations to club stalwart Matt 'Zoo' Williams and his partner Julia on the safe arrival of their first child, Philippa Rose Williams. Like her father, Pippa couldn't wait to get in amongst the action, turning up three weeks early. All are doing well, and from the whole of the Eagles family, welcome Pippa and congratulations Zoo and Jules.

Under 18 Division Two team announcement

The Sydney Hills Eagles have made the difficult decision to withdraw their U/18 Division 2 team from the Sydney AFL Competition for the remainder of the 2013 season. Despite the best efforts of the coaching staff, players and parents the Club was simply unable to guarantee the required number of players each week and wanted to avoid any further disruption and inconvenience to the remainder of the competition.

The Sydney Hills Eagles remain committed to supporting the players and providing them with the opportunity to play weekly football, within the existing teams at the club.

The Club deeply regrets any inconvenience caused. We sincerely thank the AFL and the other Clubs for their understanding and wish all other teams the very best for the rest of the season.

A special thank you to Jamie McNeil, John Dimond and Peter Steer who worked extremely hard to complete the playing roster and maintain the team.
